Emerging technologies are basically new and modern inventions and technologies that make life easier. An example of emerging technology are smartphones that have alot more functions than phones before. It enables you to be able to communicate faster i.e it connects to the internet fast allowing you to check e-mails and get information from the net fast. This means that people that need to constantly keep in contact with business contacts etc. but can't be there can easily stay in contact therefore work and other things can keep going. Other advantages of smartphones are that alot more data can be recieved like large emails and attachments whereas before phones could only send small emails and no attachments. Also wherever you are you can always connect to the internet meaning that people in businesses or people that have jobs dont have to worry about not being able to check something. Without emerging technologies it makes it harder for organistions and people to operate. The new functions of smartphones makes it easier and quicker for people and businesses.
